Sarina Murrell, MS, CCC-SLP, is a multilingual medical speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of experience as an educator and more than a decade of clinical experience across medical operations, children’s hospitals (NICU/outpatient), autism centers, early intervention, and public schools in the U.S., Ecuador, and China.
She is the founder and director of The Airplane Spoon, a relationship-centered private practice based in Menlo Park, California, serving babies, children, and parents in the areas of feeding, communication, and family coaching. For over four years, The Airplane Spoon has specialized in building collaborative care models that bridge communication between families, SLPs, and interdisciplinary providers—including ABA teams—to ensure consistency, trust, and joy in the therapeutic process.
Sarina has presented at the local, state, national, and international levels on a wide range of topics, including teacher training, motivation, executive functioning, pediatric feeding, collaboration with interpreters, and AAC.
