Dr Scott Palasik, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an Associate Professor at the University of Akron, where he teaches graduate-level courses in Stuttering, Voice Disorders, and Counseling, and supervises Graduate Clinical Education. He also teaches undergraduate courses. Scott conducts research on the social cognitive aspects of stuttering, counseling variables in communication disorders, and the lived experiences of people who stutter. Scott has been part of the Leadership Team at Camp Shout, a camp for kids who stutter, for over 10 years. He is also the co-host and founder of the Act To Live Podcast.
