Tara Roehl, MS, CCC-SLP, is a nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist and the owner of a private telepractice clinic in Colorado specializing in social cognition, executive functioning, and the use of technology in therapy. With over 11 years of experience in telepractice, Tara has pioneered remote therapy approaches for clients across the globe, including in Rwanda, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines. Earlier in her career, Tara worked in public schools in Illinois and California, as well as in a private clinic in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a lead therapist, she launched innovative district programs and supported students with social/pragmatic needs in an internationally recognized clinic. Tara is the co-founder and president of Hacking Autism, a nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities that enhance the lives of the neurodiverse community. She speaks and trains parents and professionals through webinars, conferences, and conventions worldwide, and leads The Telepractice Course—an online training for clinicians seeking to build successful virtual practices. She holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
