Theresa H. Rodgers, MA, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL, EdSp, F-ASHA, is a speech-language pathologist and special education consultant with over thirty years of experience in public schools. She is ASHA’s Immediate Past President, a former government Chief Administrative Officer, and has held leadership roles as president of both the Council of State Association Presidents and the National Council of State Boards of Examiners (NCSB).
Rodgers has served as ASHA’s Vice President for Government Relations and Public Policy, chaired the Council for Clinical Certification and the Board of Ethics, and completed multiple terms on the Louisiana licensure board. She co-authored a Code of Ethics for SLP Assistants and played a key role in revising Louisiana’s licensure laws and regulations. She has chaired disciplinary hearings and led NCSB’s annual board member training for more than a decade.
A recognized expert in ethics, Rodgers co-presented a master class at the 2019 ASHA Convention and continues to present widely at state, national, and international venues. Unlimited
