Viannery D. Mabag, CSP-PASP—affectionately known as “Teacher Via” or “Miss V”—is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the Philippines, serving as a pediatric clinician, academic leader, and educator.
As Teacher Via, she practices in a private clinic where she specializes in the assessment and intervention of pediatric language disorders. She works closely with families and interdisciplinary teams to provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for children with complex communication needs.
As Miss V, she serves as the Program Chair of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at Cebu Doctors’ University—one of only four institutions in the Philippines offering undergraduate SLP programs. In addition to her administrative role, she teaches undergraduate courses and supervises interns during their final clinical practicum, shaping the next generation of Filipino speech-language pathologists.
